Suenos...or Dreams
We received a grant from the Catholic Youth Foundation, of Washington D.C., to work with youth-at-risk in Reno, Nevada. By partnering with Washoe County Juvenile Services and other local agencies we able to work with some wonderful youth, some of whom you will see on this music video. The video is about the importance of committing oneself to one’s deams, thus the title of the video “Suenos… or Dreams.”
St. Catherine Emmerich, a German catholic nun who lived in the 1800's, had a vision: had Judas, the apostle who committed suicide for selling off Jesus, ran into the Blessed Virgin Mary on his way to killing himself, She would have hugged him, forgiven him and said, "go back Judas, my Son loves you. And it's precisely for people like you that He came into the world. Go back."
Filmed in Richmond and San Pablo, California, featuring "Hiz-Kidz". Thanks to Councilmember Arturo Cruz, aka AMC, for getting these kids organized and putting on a wonderful show. And thanks to Tony Rincon (R.I.P.) who came through with Raza Unida Car Club, Richmond, California.
Fix, from North Carolina, doing his thang! TAPZ... dedicated to our soldiers, both home and abroad.
The "Little Drummer Boy" music video was a hit, in big part, because of the hook sung by Christina Yroz, currently residing in Las Vegas, Nevada. Imagine, the first time for her being in a music video! The Cathedral of St. Thomas Aquinas in Reno, Nevada provided the backdrop. Song was intended for the children but grown-ups seem to like it as well!
Similar to the Papi song.... but dedicated to my own popz with me rapping all the verses! Thanks again Armando Padilla for stepping in and helping me with the backup!
Great song, dedicated to our fathers. Check it out! Featuring Armando Padilla and Johnathan Reyes from Richmond, California
